7th and 8th April

Had a great thunder storm early this morning. The thunder just rolled across the flat land.

We rode back up to the Wellstead Homestead and a nice breakfast.

We left heading west again. I saw a camp which looked good called Port Riche Campground.  17km of dirt but bus handled it easy.

$20 a night and perfect place to chill for a couple of days.
Water is still warm. One local said it is 3 deg warmer than normal. Nice little beach to swim in too.

Took a track along the headland. Saw one friendly goanna.

After the snake we are really cautious. I am usually  but Sal can't see them that we'll ,so when she wonders off as she does, she is a worry.

Scenery is great
So just chillin, swimming ,eating and the odd drink.

We did a bit of snorkelling. Sal saw lots of different small fish.

A big pod of dolphins came through but I missed them in the shot.
