2nd April
Got away reasonably earlier. Considering I was awake at 5am. Still getting used to time zone.
Drove into Esperance and took the bikes off. We set off on the Great Ocean Track. Probably the most scenic bike path I have ever taken.

It should have been called 'I was a Pink Lake in 1900' . It has changed because of mining and closure to other lakes. Lots of salt and a bit of water. No Pink colour though a possible Pink tinge if you squinted.
Sal and I both thought fish and chips for lunch. So after Sal did some laps and I found a carwash we eventually found a takeaway fish and chip shop. Alarms should have gone off when it was in the industrial area. Had good reviews. The other ones in town had bad reviews and cost $35 for a fish and chip serve.
Ours was cheap and tasty shark. You'd think it would be easy to find a decent takeaway in Esperance. 😒
Bit of shopping then took the Ocean Tourist Road.
Went down a lookout road and got a great view.
Back to caravan park prepare bus for a few days of bush camping.
