1st April
Had a nice quiet night but woke at 5am not used to time zones yet. Nice cool misty morning.

Hit the highway & side mirrors kept fogging over so couldn't see road trains storming up on me. So had to keep speed up at 110kmh to keep in front of them.
Mist finally lifted and revealed brilliant bronze trunk gum trees.
One camel town. Got a couple of supplies then to the lookout overlooking the mine.
Had a look at Lake Cowan all Salt with water underneath it.

Really old quirky houses in town a lot abandoned some burnt out. Lots of cheap real estate.
A few wide loads came through with mine vehicles. Sal was driving when these came through. They don't move slowly either.
I didn't realise there would be so many stony islands off Esperance. Stunning area. A local advised us where to swim and about 8kms later we were in the warmest water yet swimming to a rock structure. The water was clear. We swam out to that far rock in the distance.
Very busy in Esperance. We managed to get a site at Cape Legrand for Thursday night.
