15th April

Headed off to visit Augusta for the day. Nice spot and the locals tell us we lucked out with one of the days the wind doesn't blow.
Swim time and to Granny's Pools a natural protected ocean pool inside a reef.

Then off to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. The tallest on mainland Australia.

Fun fact. The Lighthouse goes 4metres underground making it more stable.
Made a sausage and onion BBQ roll for lunch and chilled by the water

Sal did the tour up 267 steps and got to the top. I volunteered not to go. My knees would buckle not long after leaving earth.😄😄😄

Sals shot from the top.
Great scenery either side. The Indian Ocean on one side and the Southern Ocean on the other.

Sal drove onto Nannup, up means water,  so everything ends in up over here. Caravan park is quaint but nice. Backing onto bushland.
