Day 48 15th and 16th March.

Got out of the caravan park early and headed towards Rapid Bay. First stop was the Willunga Markets. It was just produce and really expensive. Sal and I enjoyed our overpriced $11 bacon and egg roll.
Then a pleasant drive on the coast road south. Found another smaller market in Normanville where Sal found a couple of nice dresses.

The drive into Rapid Bay is spectacular.
And it gets better once you get to the Bay.
Unfortunately there was a big sign at the front of the campground 'Campground Full' we booked in for the next night and parked at the beach.

Sal was able to get her swim in  and nice to be able to get relief from the high 30s temp.

We parked up the other end near the old and new wharf.
The wharf is popular for catching so Sal and with rod in hands went off to get dinner. The little buggers followed the jug even touched it but didn't commit. Frustrating. ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿคจ
So we went for a snorkel, although the water was clear only saw a few fish and squid (hundreds of them just out of range from the jetty.)
So we free camped all by ourselves and watched small schools of fish jumping around the get away from the garnish.  Had the back door open so you could hear the waves lapping against the rocks under us.

Today was a different one. Temp had dropped dramatically and wind was up. Plodded off again to the wharf and played with the ๐Ÿ™ same deal no commitment from them.

Can't check in till 11am so drove a short distance to Cape Jervis where the ferry goes to Kangaroo Island.
Drove to Second Valley to have a look. Small place nice for a couple of days. Small beach clear water for snorkelling.
Back home quick walk Sal had to have another snorkel.

Played canasta and at this stage Sal may as well not be playing. She is being savagely beaten.
