Day 46 13th March

Went for a walk around Horseshoe Bay before breakkie.
Off for a bike ride to Goolwa. The track was nice things to see along the way.
An old structure whick used to house chickens which was part of the main house in the backgrounds property.
Nice sculptures of whale and calf.
The beaches along the way were chock a block full of red weed. U would be able to swim through it. And it had the usual stink.
There are so many big houses on the bike route most of them unoccupied holiday ones.

Found a Cafe near  Goolwa beach and another good coffee and a blueberry muffin.

Got to Goolwa which was a longer ride than to Victor Harbour about 34 km return by our reckoning. No wonder my bum is saddle sore. Need a better seat or remember to bring my padded riding pants.

Bought fish and calamari sat by the Murray River, ate and snoozed a bit.

Got back and tried to have a dip to cool off in the little Cove behind us. I was the only one there and everything I tried to get into the water this big black ray would almost beach itself to come and say hello. I eventually got sufficiently wet and left him to it.

Meanwhile Sal hadn't had enough exercise riding 34 kms and had to swim another couple. She swum out to a pontoon on Horseshoe Bay and was surrounded by dolphins.

Last night here just chillin before dinner.
