Day 44 & 45 11th 12th March.

After getting away from the fire
We found a roadside park and had dinner and slept.

I woke early at 5am hearing the electrical shut down with low volts. I stupidly turned on inverter to charge bikes through day.

Drove off as it was hot and fans. Found a 24 hour carwash at  with a power point so I could jump start the lithium batteries.  All good .

Langehorn Creek had a council campground. Parked up and walked 10 minutes into town. RV Park was nice with toilet $5 -a night.

Not much in town but some beautiful old buildings and a closed pub and Cafe.

Had coffee and to our surprise was really good in the mugs Sal likes. Accompanied by an equally good sausage roll.
Still early so decided to head off to Port Elliot caravan park. Got a nice spot next to a small rocky Cove where we can dip and a nice view. Staying 3 nights now.
Up early to Jem's cheerful phone call. Had a swim at the main beach.
Then off for a ride to Victor Harbour. Easy 8k there on cycleway and backroads along beach.

Got to the wharf at Victoria Harbour just in time for a nice photo of the carriage that goes out to Granite Island
Found a nice coffee shop and shared a Bacon and egg roll.
