Day 37 4th March

Wind had died down and we took a wander along the beach.

Then explored Port Macdonnell briefly. Nice little Port coffee shops fishand chips. 

Found Ewen Ponds. A series of crystal clear ponds you could normally do a supervised snorkel but they were closed for environmental purposes.  We  particularly Sal wanted to dive into the water about 15 deg we think. 

Anyway Sal some with a teacher who had a class visiting there and told us about a spot you could swim.

It was further down the creek but just as clear and cold. Bit hard to get in and out and kept eye out for snakes but well worth it. 

Found a great camp spot at Browns Beach. 

We will certainly hear the ocean tonight.
