Left Coffin Bay early.
Nice spot. Had a look at Elliston on way. Great op shop at info centre. $3 for any item. 
Continued onto Streaky Bay. Bought some king George whiting fillets. Wharf was closed so no swim in caged area. Nice main street great pub overlooking water with beer garden.
 Headed out to Speeds Point over dirt road. $10 a night. Bargain. Only 2 other vehicles there. 
Woke up and cooked a long awaited big breakfast, bacon eggs sausage Mushrooms. 
We packed a backpack and headed up the beach for a walk. March flies were annoying but walk was OK. Had to get around some hard rocky outcrops. 
Did some snorkelling  but not clear. 
Incredible sand cliffs where you felt in danger standing too close.

So even got gas hot water to work. First hot shower for ages. 

Carefully cooked up whiting. Bloody beautiful.  
Next morning no water pressure. Water pump decided to play up. Got it going but intermittently stopped. Not good no toilet sinks, shower just before crossing Nullarbor😬

Phone calls to Ceduna found a pump and off we go. 

Got pump parked near the wharf changed pump all good. Then went for a swim in caged area off wharf. 
Off to Fowlers Bay on advice of tourist info Ceduna.
Speed at Penong saw there windmill museum. 
Bit of rough dirt road and ended up at caravan park $25 night. Small ,primitive but warm showers. 🫠
wind has picked up. Weather looks good for Nullarbor crossing.

Day 1.

Well after thinking we were getting away early to start the trip plans changed. After Sal did her laps at Woonona pool we had a great breakfast with all the family and Lous parents at the North Break Cafe at Woonona. Photos and a couple of tears from Sal and we got away about 10.30am.  Easy drive to Yass and Sal took over while I slept in the back.  Wandered around Gundagai in some reasonable heat decided on Criterion Pub for pizza later and chilling in van.  Lost my horn as we were farewelling Oreste so maintenance starts already. Day 2

Quiet night with all fans blowing hard keeping it at an acceptable temperature. Early start along highway. Saw a truck rollover but he considerately went off the road to do it so no hold up. No one was injured. The driver was talking to the Police probably trying to convince him he didn't fall asleep on a straight stretch of road. All workers on hand at Holbrook painting the submarine. The submariners return every Australia day and paint her up. They stay in town and have a few drinks together at the local pub. Off to Echuca to hopefully find a spot by the river. The co-pilot wanted to do more driving so here she goes. Next to no traffic. It is a nice feeling to be on the 🛣️ again. Stopped in Rutherglen. Nice street to wander along. Old buildings interesting shops. Onto Murray Valley Highway and found our way to Chisties Beach on the Murray just out of Echuca. Found this great spot and waded in for a dip.  No serenity. Packing the motorhome a week out.

 Well it is just a week away before we head off on our Biggest Trip ever. We are in the motorhome in Tassie for most of February. We are meeting friends at Geelong and doing some cycle rail trails for a few days.  After that we are exploring places along the coast towards the Nullabour. Then explore the areas towards the Margaret River Region.  We are leaving the motorhome at Perth Airport and pick up a car to travel up to Exmouth. Swim with Whale Sharks up there and snorkeling.  Back to Perth and fly over to Bali and meet the family there for a week. We are heading to another area in Bali for another week. From Perth we wander back exploring places we missed on the way.  We anticipate the trip will end back home in July.
