Day 22

Day started early as the clouds had gone and still a really cold wind blowing. After a cup of tea we decided to have a swim.

Water had got even colder but we refreshed on it. Sal described it as a thrilling swim. We are the only people in a extremely full campsie swimming. They must all be the crazies for not swimming.😆😆😆😆
It was hike day at my suggestion,  I might say. We found a fish and chip shop in Binnalong Bay with good reviews online. The only one according to the Web.

Thought we might have to rockhop again but spied a track that ran behind the rocks and dropped down into secluded little bays ,which would be great for a dip. We didn't take swimmers and the odd walker made a skinny dip riskee.😗
The track led us to the main Binnalong Beach. Tide was high going was tough on sand. I found another track which followed the beach just offit and was much easier going . Scenic past Grants Lagoon and into town.
What kept me going was the thought of a coffee and some sweet pastry.

Arrived in Binnalong Bay and the Fish and Chip shop, although showing it was open online, was non existent. We only brought water and no snacks as we were going to fill up on coffee, cakes and fish and chips, and the outstanding salt and pepper squid recommended on the reviews.

Option 2. The only, I mean now the only place that's sells anything is a restaurant called The Hub. It's 11am as we got away early for our coffee. It doesn't open til 12md. More walking then almost first in line to get in.

We order coffee which takes a while to come because everyone else within 3 kms has come for coffee and lunch. Sal wasn't smiling much she needed her coffee.
The views were outstanding and since no option ordered a pizza to share. Cheeses, red onion, pistachios and rosemary. Hit the spot .
Back home same way for a well deserved snooze.
